Advanced Micro Computers, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that this computer system, excluding items such as software, disk, fans, and related documentation, will be free from defects in material for (1) one year from the date of delivery.
During the warranty period, Advanced Micro Computers, Inc.
will correct any defects in material, or any failure of the system to conform
to specifications, at no charge for materials.
If the customer elects to have a technician visit their site there will
be an on-site charge of $60. Any
replacement products shall be new or serviceable used products, and are
warranted for the remainder of the original warranty or thirty days, whichever
is longer. The warranty period is not
extended as a result of purchasing any additional products from us or upgrading
your computer. The original purchaser
must promptly notify Advanced Micro if there is a defect in material. Advanced Micro Computers must receive written
notice in all events before expiration of this warranty period. This warranty is not transferable.
Any defect in workmanship or material, must be reported to Advanced
Micro Computers before the expiration of the warranty period by calling (845)
895-1235 or in writing via fax (845) 895-8721 or email
service@amcnetworking.com. When
contacting Advanced Micro Computers Inc., please be ready to provide your
customer number and the serial number of your unit. An Advanced Micro Computers, Inc. technician
will diagnose and attempt to resolve the problem on the phone. If the problem cannot be resolved, the
technician will authorize the issuing of replacement parts or the return of the
system/parts for repair.
This one-year parts, one-year labor warranty covers normal use. Advanced Micro Computers does not warrant or cover the following:
q Operating
system corruption
q Problems
caused by malicious programs i.e. viruses, spyware, adware, Trojans, worms any
other malicious programs
q Problems
caused by any software knowingly or unknowingly installed onto system that
affects performance or operation
q Uncertified
hardware and software
q Damage
during shipment other than the original shipment to purchaser
q Damage
caused by impact with other objects, dropping, falls, spilled liquids, or
immersion in liquids
q Damage
caused by a disaster such as fire, flood, wind, earthquake or lightning
q Damage
caused by unauthorized attachments, alterations, modifications, of foreign
objects
q Damage
caused by peripherals
q Damage
caused by dust or dirt to fans or disk drives such as CD-ROM and Floppy
q Defects
caused by failure to provide a suitable installation environment for the
hardware system
q Damage
caused by the use of the hardware system for purposes other than those it was
designed
q Damage
from improper maintenance
q Damage
caused by any other abuse, misuse, mishandling or misapplication
Advanced Micro Computers, Inc. liability for failure to repair the hardware system to conform to the warranty after a reasonable number of attempts will be limited to a replacement of the hardware system. Under no circumstances shall Advanced Micro Computers, Inc. be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages based on breech of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory. Such damages include, but are not limited to, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of use of the hardware system or any associated equipment, cost of capital, cost of substitute or replacement equipment, facilities or services, down time, purchaser’s time, the claims of third parties, including customers, and injury to property.
